Does anyone here have one of these? I'm looking into getting one, as they are advertising a 4% APR on their Orange checking account. Seems like it has all of the necessary features for a checking account - checks, wires, ATMs, etc.

Anyone know of any downfalls?

Maybe these aren't as popular as I first thought? Anyone?

Thanks for posting, Waz, I will have to look into it. I didn't even know ING offered a checking account, I love their savings account though. Likely it's a good product too.

they only have E checks (billpay) i think. No paper checks, meaning you can't pay your rent with this account. It does have an atm card and all that though.

I'll stick with my normal bank of america checking acct, and continue to keep it at a low balance siphoning any extra to my ING savings.

Why not just get a citibank checking account and link it with a eSaving account (4.50%)?

You can transfer money back and fourth in a matter of seconds.

Not a great rate at all, try citi or HSBC, they offer better deal.
